  school is over

I have just finished school and looking back the only thing i can share is that keeping up with the reading and taking key notes about what you read is the best study tip. When you keep up with reading and notes when it comes to the exams all you have to do is go and review. Also make flash cards because you can take those with you everywhere and keep it helps to keep the information fresh in your brain until it comes time for your exam.

most importantly DONT PROCRASTINATE... one thing is not having time another thing is just being lazy !!!

  Ending Junior Year @ Undergrad

Many times I have heard how hard it is to complete the Junior year of Undergrad in college. I did not believe the hype or madness until during finals time junior year. I did not do as bad as I had believed I would have if it were not for the Power Hour studying blocks and Starbucks to see me through to completion. I let myself fall behind tremedously in reading materials and literal analysis and I have made a personal commitment to never do that again unless I do not have the desire to attend law school, which is my passion. Seriously, I am seeking advice about how to not fall behind during Senior Year at Undergrad so that I will refrain from posting a message like this one this time next year before I graduate from Mason.

Making a Sacrifice to be Successful -

I've learned in life that to get the most out of life, what you put into it, is what you're going to get out of life.  Such an attitude definitely applies to getting into and completing law school.

Yet, have you ever notice the "yes-we-can" look of those who are in law school, and especially when they have completed it.  Without question, law school empowers an individual to be successful eventhough sacrifices must be made to undertake and finish it.

Law school, especially....  Aaron Harold Kenner

Soon to attend Sophomore Summer Institute at TSU

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be taking part in CLEO's sophomore summer pre-law institute at TSU! After reading some of the posts from last year's participants, my nervousness grew. It seems as though we have our work cut out for us! However, I am confident that such an intelligent, diverse group has weathered tougher storms. I am excited to meet everyone and hope to learn alot in the process.

Aaron Kenner' Blog as an Aspiring Attorney of Law

The opportunity to go to law school is like a dream come true for me.  I feel like one of the greatest academic achievements one could make in life is to go to law school to become an Attorney of Law.  To learn and developed the ability to analyze, interpret, and cite the law as well as the ability to research and write the law, is a skill set that is highly recognized and respected througout the world.

One with such talent has the priviledge in being invited to renowned events where legal issues have to be resolved.  Only one type of person can perform such feat to assure that justice is being properly meted out, and that is one who studied in law school.  As the great general Napoleon Bonaparte once said, "Words can be more powerful than the barrel of a gun."

  Hello World
This will be my first blogging experience ever. I am excited to enter the rapidly growing world of bloggers, as bewildering as it may be at first glance.
I thought the confirmation to begin blogging was immediate, and so I made several attempts to post, change my password, and re-register with the blog, all to no avail. Eventually I set up a new email account and used that email address to register again...and still was not able to post. Then this morning, I recieved an email providing me with my password, and informing me that I was approved for the program. Oops.

  Anticipation!
I started packing my dorm today. It was a surprisingly sad experience for me. My finals don't end until next week unfortunately, but I figured I should get a jump-start on packing, especially since everyone in my dorm seems to be moved out. I had my second to last final today-- Intro to Psychology final-- and I feel like I did well. I really hope so.

Besides academics, I'm excited to participate in a stroll show with my sorority, La Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporada, and excited to see my mom and dad on Wednesday. My parents are driving from Chicago to move me out; they think it would be cheaper than shipping my belongings to Chicago. But most of all, I'm excited for the Summer Sophomore Institute. I'm excited to meet everyone that will be participating in the program with me.
